PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to travel nationwide on 13-week assignments. The role provides therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist across various settings, with a focus on improving patient independence and function.

Responsibilities include delivering treatments, documenting care, and collaborating with the rehab team. This role supports ongoing professional development and offers comprehensive benefits for full- and part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the APTA.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.
• Must be available to travel and temporarily reside outside the therapist's primary home.

Responsabilités

• Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments as a Journey Traveler PTA.
• Provide physical therapy treatments to facilitate independence under a Licensed PT.
• Attend patient care meetings and represent physical therapy under supervision.
• Deliver rehab services per plan of care with timely documentation.
• Collaborate with rehab team to implement patient programs.
• Assist PT during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instruct patients and families in therapy techniques under supervision.
