Job summary

American Traveler seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for a Long Term Care facility. The role requires 2+ years of PTA experience and a TX or compact license.

You will work under the supervision of physical therapists in a long-term care setting, performing exercises, gait and balance training, and related interventions. The position features a day-shift schedule with 8-hour shifts, no weekend or on-call requirements, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PTA experience.
• TX or compact license required (license required if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Work in a Long Term Care setting within the Physical Therapy unit.
• Day shift schedule with 8-hour shifts.
• No weekend or on-call requirements.
• Work under the direction and supervision of physical therapists to treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
• Record patient progress and report treatment outcomes to the supervising physical therapist.
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested.
