American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Long Term Care setting. Active state licensure and 1+ year PTA experience required; Level II experience acceptable for new grads.

The role features a 13-week assignment with day shifts, no weekends, and supervision by a Physical Therapist. Benefits include housing allowances, travel & licensure reimbursements, and comprehensive insurance options.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license required in the state of practice (Oklahoma).
• Minimum 1 year PTA experience required, LTC/SNF setting preferred.
• New graduates may apply if Level II clinical experience completed.
• Resume and skills checklist required; at least one reference requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled therapy to LTC/SNF patients under PT supervision.
• Administer manual therapy, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Document treatment and progress in electronic records per regulatory requirements.
• Participate in patient care conferences and utilization review meetings.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about physical disorders and care plans.
• Maintain adherence to APTA and state practice acts and codes of conduct.
