Job summary

Elara Caring in Winchester, MA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our home-based care team. Provide direct physical therapy services per Plan of Care during visits and collaborate with a supervising Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program approved for licensure.
• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work.
• 6+ months experience as a PTA is preferred.
• Able and willing to travel up to 50% with a dependable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services per Plan of Care and physician orders.
• Adhere to Plan of Care and report changes to supervising Physical Therapist.
• Instruct patients and families on use of prosthetic/orthotic devices and home exercise programs.
• Support quality across home health settings and maintain documentation.
