American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an Acute Care Hospital assignment requiring NC licensure and at least 1 year of experience.

The role involves work in an acute care or inpatient rehab setting with a Tuesday–Saturday day shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Travel assignment includes housing support and licensure reimbursement, plus comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• NC PTA license and current BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year PTA experience.
• Experience with orthopedic conditions including cervicalgia and post-op cervical/shoulder/spinal surgery.
• Experience with neurologic conditions such as cognitive disorders, MS, Parkinson's, stroke rehab, SCI and TBI.
• Skilled in assessment, body mechanics, home exercise program development, and patient/family education.

Responsabilidades

• Work in Acute Care or Inpatient Rehab Center.
• Day shift: Tue-Sat, 8:00–16:30.
• Charting system experience accepted.
• Not eligible if resident of Moore County for this travel assignment.
• Pre-employment drug screen and credentialing requirements apply.
• Former FirstHealth employees must be separated for at least 1 year.

• Experience with orthopedic conditions such as cervicalgia, low back pain, and post-op cervical, shoulder, and spinal surgery
• Experience with neurologic conditions including cognitive disorders, MS, Parkinson's disease, stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and TBI
• Skilled in assessment, body mechanics, home exercise program development, and patient/family education

Responsibilities

• Work in Acute Care or Inpatient Rehab Center, with assignment based on patient volume
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Tuesday-Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Any charting system experience accepted
• Candidates must not reside in Moore County to be eligible for this travel assignment
• Facility performs its own pre-employment drug screen on all candidates upon arrival to assignment, in addition to credentialing requirements
• Former FirstHealth employees must have been separated from employment for at least 1 year to be considered for this contract position
