American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting with 2+ years of experience required.

The position offers a 13-week contract with day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. It features travel-rate eligibility based on distance, housing allowance, licensure reimbursements, and non-taxed per diem terms within a four-hospital system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent physical therapy experience required.
• Current AHA-approved BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Active and unencumbered state licensure required at time of consideration.
• Must not be employed elsewhere full time.

Responsibilities

• 58-bed acute care hospital setting
• Physical Therapy department assignment
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week contract length
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Facility is part of a four-hospital system offering a hometown atmosphere with access to 140 physicians across 22 specialties
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• Candidates within 60 miles of the facility are only eligible for the local rate
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Open to first-time travelers
