Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant Journey Traveler to support patients nationwide via 13-week assignments. You will provide PT services under the supervision of a licensed PT across diverse settings, helping patients regain independence and function.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state.
Must be available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapist primary home.

Responsibilities

Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments.
Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
Attend patient care and staffing conferences as a representative of physical therapy.
Responsible for timely documentation of services and adherence to the plan of care.
Collaborate with rehabilitation team to implement patient programs.
Instruct patients and families in the skills and techniques of the therapy program.
Maintain equipment and report repair needs.
Deliver high-quality service in a caring, patient-centered environment.
