Job summary

AlliedTravelCareers is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for Terrell, TX, on a 13‑week contract. You will work under a licensed PT to help patients regain mobility and independence, with housing and travel stipends included.

This position offers weekly pay and opportunities to explore new locations every 13 weeks, supported by Towne U.S. LLC’s team to ensure smooth transitions between assignments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program required or strongly preferred.
• Active PTA license in the practicing state; multi-state eligibility supported.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred; new grads welcome with strong skills.
• Ability to travel frequently and adapt to new settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing PT treatment plans developed by the supervising PT.
• Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting updates to the PT.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers on exercises and rehab techniques.
• Maintain a safe and supportive therapy environment and equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver patient‑centered care.
