Job summary

AlliedTravelCareers, in partnership with Towne U.S. LLC, is seeking a qualified Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment in Canton, IL. You will work under a licensed PT to help patients regain mobility, with housing and travel stipends provided.

This travel PTA role offers flexibility to explore new locations every 13 weeks, with ASAP start. Requirements include PTA degree, active license (multi-state possible), and 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active PTA license in state or multi-state eligibility.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred; new grads encouraged.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new settings and patient populations.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising PT.
• Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report updates to the PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
• Maintain equipment and assist with patient mobility to ensure a safe environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care.
