Job summary

AlliedTravelCareers, partnering with Towne U.S. LLC, seeks a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Hamlin, TX. You will work under a supervising PT to help patients regain mobility and independence.

Offering $1,742 weekly pay, housing and travel stipends, and the flexibility to explore new locations every 13 weeks. Start ASAP with ongoing support from a dedicated Journey Advisor.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in the practicing state or eligible for licensure in multiple states.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical PTA experience preferred; new grads with strong skills welcome.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and patient populations.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Passion for patient care and willingness to travel for assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized PTA treatment plans under supervision.
• Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and functional mobility activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
• Maintain a safe therapy environment and assist with equipment and mobility.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care.
