Job summary
AlliedTravelCareers, working with Towne U.S. LLC, seeks a Travel PTA in Chillicothe, IL for a 13-week contract. You’ll support patients under a licensed PT to improve mobility and independence and gain experience across locations.
The role offers competitive weekly pay, housing and travel stipends, and a dedicated Journey Advisor to help with transitions every 13 weeks. If you’re passionate about patient care and travel, this opportunity is for you.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
- Active PTA license in state or eligibility for multi-state licensure (licensing assistance available).
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred; new grads with strong skills welcome.
- Ability to travel and adapt to new settings and patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing PT treatment plans under supervision.
- Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting to the PT.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and rehab techniques.
- Maintain equipment and assist with patient mobility to ensure safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care.
