Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Sullivan, MO. The PT will evaluate patients, develop rehabilitation plans, and work with a clinical team to achieve functional recovery.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy.
• Physical Therapy experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate therapy equipment safely and calibrate devices as needed.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and body mechanics.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety standards.
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
• Assist with discharge planning to ensure continued progress.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
