Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Springfield, Missouri. The role involves assessing patients, designing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with the care team to achieve therapy goals.

The assignment runs for 12 weeks at 40 hours per week with a 9-hour daytime shift. Start date is 11/02/2026, and credentials including NPTE, licensure, and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE.
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or in process for licensure
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients and provide direct patient care to assess medical condition, function, and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and administer treatment program with goals based on patient capacity and physician direction.
• Set realistic, achievable goals for patients, document status, and educate patients and families in therapy methods.
• Develops a plan of care for each physical therapy patient and provide skilled therapy services per physician orders.
