Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a Physical Therapist for a 8-week travel assignment in Springfield, MO. You'll assess, plan, and implement evidence-based therapy to improve mobility and reduce pain in hospital, clinic, or rehab settings.

Requirements include a valid PT license and BLS; Doctorate in PT preferred. Experience welcomed, with orientation and support from a dedicated clinical team. Travel benefits apply, and a competitive pay package is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.
• Experience in PT preferred; new grads considered.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and plan treatment.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs to meet goals.
• Implement therapy plans and operate therapy equipment safely.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses for coordinated care.
• Educate patients on home exercises and prevention strategies.
• Maintain infection control and safety during sessions.
• Engage in professional development to stay current.
• Assist with discharge planning for community/home settings.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
