Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a traveling Physical Therapist for an assignment in Springfield, Massachusetts. The PT will evaluate, plan, and implement patient care in an acute care setting and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Requirements include 6 months minimum experience, BLS, and state PT licensure. The role demands standing/walking for long periods and adherence to PT board rules. Travel status is expected with weekly hours and potential stipend considerations.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads may apply.
• BLS certification and active state-specific PT license required.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Advancing evaluations and plans of care per PT guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care.
• Oversee PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill and document per facility guidelines.
• Coordinate with Medical Center staff and physicians.
• Perform daily tasks using center systems.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation per state/insurer rules.
