Job summary

Assured Nursing, Waterville, Maine, is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment. You will provide skilled PT services, evaluate patients, and develop individualized treatment plans in compliance with state and facility guidelines.

The role is 40 hours per week with days shifts (8 hours). You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, supervise therapy staff where permitted, and maintain safety and regulatory standards throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT).
• Active state PT license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients as appropriate
• Develop and update treatment/discharge plans of care
• Document services accurately and timely
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs per practice acts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
