Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Bridgton, Maine. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and implement plans of care in an acute care setting, and coordinate with the care team.

Requirements include 6 months of PT experience (exception possible with relevant background), BLS certification, and state licensure. Travel duties involve supervising staff, documentation, and adherence to board regulations.

Qualifications

• 6 months of PT experience required; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.
• BLS and state-specific licensing required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and create a plan of care.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for team plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and use center computer systems.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state/insurance rules.
