Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health is seeking a travel Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across multiple settings to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.

The role involves developing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise, manual therapy, and specialized equipment; collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care; and educating patients on exercises and self-management while maintaining infection control and safety

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients through clinical examinations and history to identify functional limitations.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs.
• Operate therapy equipment safely and effectively.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management.
• Ensure a safe, infection-controlled environment during therapy sessions.
• Participate in professional development and discharge planning activities.
