Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Danville, California. The position runs 13 weeks at 40 hours per week with 10-hour shifts during daytime hours. A tax-free stipend is to be determined, and prior PT experience is preferred;

6 months of experience is required, with BLS and state-specific licensing. The role involves supervising PTAs and staff, documenting care, and coordinating with medical center personnel to ensure a team-based plan of care.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• BLS and state-specific licensing required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; good anatomy/physiology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center staff and physicians for care plans.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as patient condition changes.
• Use hospital systems for daily tasks; maintain documentation.
