Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Danville, Virginia. The role requires a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s in PT with NPTE, current CPR, and an active state license in progress or in good standing.

Expect 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts. Travel responsibilities include housing allowance or private housing, and a comprehensive benefits package. Minimum one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy with NPTE
• Graduated from an accredited program
• Minimum one year of experience
• Current CPR certification and state licensure in progress or active

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients needing rehabilitation services and provide direct patient care
• Establish and administer treatment plans with goals based on capacity
• Document patient condition and progress and educate patients and families
• Develop plans of care and provide skilled physical therapy per physician orders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals
