Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Raytown, Missouri. The 13-week, 40-hour per week travel position shifts are 8 hours in days, with immediate start for a PT who has at least 1 year of experience and current BLS and state licensure.

Responsibilities include evaluating and planning care, supervising PTAs, documenting in medical records, and collaborating with facility staff to ensure a team-based plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care

Qualifications

• 1 year of physical therapy experience required; 6 months accepted for exceptional candidates.
• BLS certification and state licensure required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the facility following guidelines.
• Communicate with physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; adjust as patient condition changes.
• Use center systems to document and chart care in a timely manner.
