Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for an immediate travel assignment in Independence, MO. This 13-week, 40-hour per week position requires evaluating and developing a plan of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months to 1 year of PT experience, valid BLS and MO licensure, and the ability to stand and move for long periods. Travel benefits include weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires 6 months to 1 year of PT experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• BLS and state-specific licensing are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for a team-based care plan.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as needed.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks and documentation.
