Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Bridgeton, Missouri. The PT will evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care in the acute care setting, while supervising PTAs and coordinating with physicians and staff.

Must have 1 year of experience (6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state licensing. The position offers a 40-hour work week with day shifts, and a 13-week duration.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preferred; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• BLS certification and state-specific physical therapy licensing are required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform bending and manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within facility guidelines and maintain documentation.
• Interface with medical center staff to coordinate care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and plan of care.
• Evaluate and modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Utilize hospital computer systems for daily tasks.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation per regulations.
