Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Kennewick, WA. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months may be accepted. Work is 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts in a travel setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience; 6 months accepted for exceptional candidates.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• New grads encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines
• Understand PT board rules and state regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians on plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and modify plan of care as patient condition changes
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
