Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Physical Therapist Traveler to join our nationwide 13-week assignment program. The role involves assessing and delivering physical therapy across diverse settings, with supervision of therapy staff as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a U.S. PT license and a Master’s in Physical Therapy, and is willing to travel and temporarily reside away from their home base. This position supports the company’s mission to improve lives through rehabilitation and wellness.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in applicable state(s) or proof of eligibility.
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent combination).
• Willingness to travel and reside temporarily outside home base.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments across various settings.
• Assess, develop, and deliver physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Supervise PTAs, temporary licensees, students and support personnel as allowed by state licensure.
• Adhere to plan of care, document services, and coordinate with rehabilitation team.
