Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation to You is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Journey Traveler program. The role requires traveling nationwide for 13-week assignments to deliver physical therapy services in diverse settings.

You will assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with the rehabilitation team to optimize outcomes. The position may involve supervising PT staff and ensuring compliance with care plans.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in state(s) of practice.
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Master's degree in a PT-related field in addition to a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of PT experience.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and reside temporarily outside of home.
• Foreign PT degree must be evaluated for US equivalence.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive PT services across diverse settings nationwide.
• Assess, design and deliver therapy programs to restore function.
• Instruct and educate patients and caregivers; refer to other disciplines as needed.
• Supervise PT Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support staff when applicable.
• Ensure safety, adherence to plan of care and timely documentation.
• Order supplies and maintain equipment.
