Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Elma, Washington. The role requires 1 year of PT experience (6 months for exceptional candidates) and BLS with state licensing.

You will supervise staff, bill according to setting guidelines, and coordinate with physicians to implement an effective plan of care. Expect 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, and a tax-free stipend for travel.

Qualifications

• Active state license to practice physical therapy.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1 year of PT experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• Willingness to travel and work 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Comply with PT board rules and state regulations.
• Collaborate with Medical Center staff and physicians on plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment concepts.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; adjust as patient condition changes.
• Utilize hospital computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely documentation according to state/insurance guidelines.
