TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Seattle, Washington.

The right PT will have 6 months of experience (1 year preferred) and must hold BLS and state licensure; shifts are 8 hours, days, with 40 hours per week of work.

Responsibilities include supervising PTAs and staff, documenting in Medical Center systems, and coordinating with physicians to plan patient care.

Formación

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• PT should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend/lean or stoop, and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Understand and apply the PT board's rules in the state.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and its use.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care for patients.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state/insurance guidelines.
