UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Travel Psychologist to conduct VA C&P mental health evaluations on a mobile unit, with travel across the country and telehealth options when not traveling. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and provide objective, evidence-based opinions.

The role requires a PhD/PsyD, an active psychologist license, and strong diagnostic and documentation skills. Remote work from home is supported when not traveling, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Competenze

• PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology from an APA accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted Psychologist license in any state.
• Experience diagnosing a wide range of mental health disorders, PTSD focus.
• Proficient with standard office software including Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Mansioni

• Conduct thorough Mental Health C&P evaluations per VA guidelines.
• Review medical records and provide evidence-based assessments.
• Complete standardized documentation and timely reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as needed.
• Engage with internal stakeholders about the VA contract.
• Support Senior/Deputy Medical Directors as SME on Mental Health DBQs.
• Back up the VA Mental Health Lead when required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
