UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Travel Psychologist to conduct VA C&P mental health evaluations on a mobile unit nationwide. The role requires frequent travel (60%), with non-travel weeks spent performing telehealth exams, medical opinions, and in-person assessments for homebound Veterans.

Candidates must hold a PhD/PsyD in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program and be licensed in any state. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills are essential.

Formación

• PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted Psychologist license in any state.
• Experience identifying and diagnosing the full array of mental health disorders with emphasis on PTSD.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to perform detailed work with high accuracy and productivity.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel throughout the U.S. at least 60% of the time.
• Access to high-speed internet and a dedicated home workspace.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct thorough Mental Health VA C&P evaluations and provide objective, evidence-based opinions.
• Review medical records and prepare standardized, timely reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as needed.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on Mental Health DBQs and assist with VA contract operations.
• Back up the VA Mental Health Lead as required.
• Possibly perform telehealth and in-person exams for homebound Veterans within driving distance.
• Other duties as assigned.
