Job summary

Frey Consulting Group in Montana is seeking a skilled nurse to provide nursing assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluation for adult clients in an inpatient psychiatric facility.

The role includes directing and training subordinate nursing staff, with travel experience and expertise in geriatric psych nursing valued, plus potential shift differential and a meal per shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year travel experience.
• At least 2 years of working in mental health setting.
• Minimum 2 years in geriatric psych nursing.
• Skilled in De-Escalation.
• BLS
• CPI preferred

• Provide assistance and support to clients in maintaining a therapeutic environment.
• Performs nursing assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation for adult clients in the facility.
• Assigning work and providing direction and training to subordinate nursing personnel.

ABOUT THE FACILITY

This facility provides inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults with serious mental illness. Services provided include: evaluation and assessment, medication management, individual and group therapy, psycho-educational programs, rehabilitation and vocational services, chemical dependency treatment, and peer support. This location is the only public psychiatric hospital in Montana and serves people admitted from communities across the state.
