Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Travel Technician 1 Power or Temp Control to support projects across the United States, with extensive travel anticipated. You will work on diverse power and HVAC systems, installing, commissioning, servicing, and repairing equipment for events, utilities, and refinery turnarounds.

The role requires hands-on experience with HVAC or industrial diesel generators, strong problem-solving skills, and 4+ years in relevant fieldwork; travel up to 75% is expected, including extended

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and be away for extended periods.
• Experience with event and entertainment environments.
• Experience servicing, testing and installing commercial HVAC or industrial diesel generators.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and repair Aggreko generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or OFA systems.
• Install and commission for Events Services and other complex projects.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures both on Events Services and in the service centers.
• Utilize formulas to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
• Ensure completion of minor repairs and major overhauls on time, within budgets.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Promote safe working conditions per OSHA, EPA and other regulations.
• Interface with a remote operations center to prevent failures and design proactive notifications.
