Job summary

Aggreko plc is hiring a Major Project Travel Technician 2- Temp Control. This home-based role covers the US with up to 75% travel and focuses on installation, maintenance, and repair of generators, HVAC, and control systems for major projects and turnarounds.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of power-generation experience, reads electrical schematics, and adheres to OSHA/EPA safety standards. Competitive hourly pay with travel allowance and bonus opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of experience in power generators, inspections, maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and repair Aggreko generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC and OFA systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures on Major Projects and in service centers; calculate tonnage and kW requirements.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals; maintain safe working conditions per OSHA/EPA regulations.
