Job summary

Applegreen seeks a General Manager for a QSR located inside a highway travel plaza. You will lead day-to-day operations, drive profitability, and manage a team to achieve sales, service speed, and food quality targets.

Responsibilities include budgeting, inventory, staffing, training, compliance, and customer relations, with a focus on brand standards and safety. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring on-site guidance and people development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of supervisor or unit-level management in a QSR environment.
• Flexible on-site schedule ~50 hours/week including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Stand/walk for extended periods; able to lift 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of associates and managers to meet sales, speed, customer satisfaction, and food safety targets.
• Maintain budgets, inventory, labor costs, gross profit, and reporting.
• Ensure brand standards and food safety compliance across the QSR.
• Foster a learning, development, and recognition culture; recruit and retain a strong team.
• Hire, coach, train, promote, and if needed discipline QSR staff; manage staffing levels.
• Enforce cash handling policies and company procedures; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Resolve customer issues promptly to maintain positive relationships.
