Onvo is seeking a Travel Plaza Cashier to serve as the front-line associate for customers at our travel plaza. You will manage the checkout process, assist customers, and keep the area tidy and organized to ensure fast, friendly service.

The role requires accurate cash handling, basic math, and a positive attitude. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred to support busy travel periods.

Job Description:

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the front-line representative for our customers, ensuring a fast, friendly, and accurate checkout experience. You will handle transactions, maintain a clean and organized sales area, and provide excellent customer service in a busy travel plaza environment.

Job Responsibilities

• * Operate cash register and process various payment methods accurately
• * Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product location or information.
• * Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking supplies and cleaning countertops.
• * Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
• * Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining product displays as needed.
• * Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol).
• * Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• * Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the travel plaza.

Job Qualifications

• * Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is a plus.
• * Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• * Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• * A positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
