Job Description:As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be providing excellent customer service and efficiently processing transactions for fuel, convenience store items, and food service.Responsibilities* Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.* Operate a cash register and POS system to accurately process sales transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.* Handle cash responsibly, ensuring accurate change and proper reconciliation at the beginning and end of shifts.* Assist customers with inquiries, locate products, and provide information about promotions or services.* Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves and rotating merchandise.* Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers with fueling needs as required.* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol, lottery).* Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to management as needed.* Perform basic cleaning duties within the store and restock merchandise.* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.Qualifications* Previous cash handling or customer service experience a plus.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.* Basic mathematical skills for cash handling.* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.* Must be at least 18 years of age due to requirements for selling age-restricted products.* A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.Shift:Full Time and Part Time AvailableDisclaimer:The list of Principal Duties, Essential Functions, and Basic Qualifications is illustrative but not exhaustive.
