Job summary

GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, Virginia. This role requires a VA or Compact RN license, BLS & PALS, and 3+ years PICU experience with Epic EMR.

Shifts are 3x12s days and nights on a rotating schedule, totaling 36 hours per week. Floating to other pediatric units may occur; ECMO experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active VA or Compact RN License; BLS & PALS required.
• 3+ years PICU experience; Level 1 Trauma/Teaching Hospital preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required (no exceptions).
• Skills include vents, telemetry, ICP monitoring, CVVH, chemo administration; ECMO a plus.

Responsibilities

• Patient ratio 1:2 in a 20-bed pediatric trauma & burn center.
• Schedule includes every other weekend and 2 holidays; rotating 12-hour shifts.
• Floating to other pediatric/unit areas as needed.

Job Title: Registered Nurse – PICU

Shift: 3x12s Days & Nights (Rotating shifts; schedule changes every few weeks, not within the same week)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks | 36 Hours/week

Key Requirements:

• License/Certs: Active VA or Compact RN License | BLS & PALS required.
• Experience: 3+ years of PICU experience (excluding orientation). Level 1 Trauma / Teaching Hospital experience preferred.
• EMR: Epic experience required (no exceptions).
• Skills: Vents, Telemetry, ICP monitoring, CVVH, Chemo administration. ECMO experience is a plus.

Unit Details & Work Expectations:

• Patient Ratio: 1:2 (20-bed Level 1 Pediatric Trauma & Burn Center).
• Schedule: Every other weekend requirement (12–13 shifts) + minimum 2 holidays required. No block schedules.
