Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia. The position is a hospital-based PICU RN role with a 13-week contract and a 36-hour workweek on a 12-hour shift.

Start date 10/12/2026; you will float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics as needed and must work two of the three winter holidays, with VA license pending.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and PALS certifications required.
• All Peds cardiac experience is a plus.
• VA license pending and able to work two of the 3 winter holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric critical care patients in the PICU.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergent needs.
• Support staffing needs by floating to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics as required.
