Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment in Pierre, SD. You will implement individualized treatment plans under supervision to improve mobility and independence.

Responsibilities include guiding exercises, documenting progress, and collaborating with therapists and the care team. Requirements include PTA license and BLS certification; new grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans under supervision to improve mobility and independence.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises and activities and document progress.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and the care team to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain a safe, compliant therapy environment and record treatment details.
