Job summary

Assured Nursing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel assignment in Pierre, South Dakota. This 13-week position requires 40 hours per week, with 9-hour day shifts, starting ASAP, and working under the supervision of a licensed PT to deliver therapy per the plan of care.

You will document progress, educate patients, and support home exercise programs while coordinating with an interdisciplinary team and following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions per PT plan of care
• Document patient progress and response to treatment
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status to supervising PT
