You will work in a community setting in Oregon, delivering evidence-based rehabilitation and coordinating with the care team. Responsibilities include developing personalized plans, operating therapy equipment, documenting outcomes, and educating patients.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy license in the state

Role Overview

Seeking a Travel Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments, aiming to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions through tests, examinations, and history to identify treatment needs
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based rehabilitation plans using exercise and manual therapy
• Operate and maintain specialized therapy equipment safely and effectively
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
• Maintain a safe, compliant treatment environment adhering to infection control and safety standards
• Participate in professional development and quality assurance activities
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth patient transitions

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in English, PC skills, and ability to follow instructions
• Physical ability to lift 50-100 lbs, move, push, pull, and bend
• Effective interpersonal skills and professionalism
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to irregular schedules
• Visual acuity and effective communication abilities
