CARIN Alliance is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in California. You will provide outpatient and inpatient therapy in an acute care hospital, with 8-hour day shifts and Saturday inpatient coverage, primarily serving outpatient cases.
Qualified candidates have a minimum of 2 years of PT experience, an active state PT license, BLS certification, a valid driver’s license and two professional references.
Role: Outpatient Physical Therapist in a travel setting.
Responsibilities: Provide outpatient and inpatient therapy services in an acute care hospital, primarily focusing on outpatient cases with some inpatient care. Conduct 8-hour day shifts, including Saturday inpatient shifts, and adhere to a first to float policy. Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation.
Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience, active state PT license, and BLS certification are required. Must provide a driver's license and two professional references.
Skills: Strong outpatient therapy skills, ability to work in acute care, and flexibility to float as needed.
Key Duties: Deliver therapy services, follow hospital protocols, and maintain documentation. Participate in orientation and comply with dress code.
This position offers a 13-week contract with 40 hours per week, working days from Tuesday to Saturday, in a critical access hospital setting, primarily serving outpatient clients using Cerner EMR.
