Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across hospital, clinic, and rehab settings. You will design evidence-based plans using exercise and manual therapy to improve mobility and reduce pain.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, personalized rehabilitation programs, progress monitoring, and interprofessional collaboration to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in English, computer skills, and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients.
• Effective interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and patients.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

• Maintain a safe environment adhering to safety and infection control standards.
• Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth patient transitions.
