Job description

Role:

A travel Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. They develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise, manual therapy, and specialized equipment to promote recovery and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments, create and implement rehabilitation programs, operate therapy equipment, monitor progress, and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and injury prevention.
• Maintain a safe environment following regulatory standards, document outcomes accurately, participate in discharge planning, and engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations, current BLS certification, strong clinical skills, critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Must possess physical and sensory skills to perform therapy tasks, work effectively with diverse teams, and handle occasional irregular schedules under pressure.
• Proficiency in PC use and comprehension of written/verbal instructions are required.
