Role Overview:

A travel Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized plans of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise PTAs and support staff such as therapy technicians
• Bill and document accurately within facility and insurance guidelines
• Ensure compliance with state-specific PT regulations and rules
• Collaborate with medical personnel and physicians to develop a team-focused plan of care
• Assess patients, create, and modify treatment plans based on patient progress
• Understand and utilize adaptive equipment appropriately
• Use medical center computer systems for documentation and administrative tasks

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged to apply
• Current BLS certification and state-specific licensure
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods
• Additional certifications may be required prior to assignment
