Qualifications

Working in settings such as hospitals, clinics, and rehab centers, they develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans utilizing exercise and manual therapy techniques. The role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, critical thinking, and a commitment to safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions through tests, examinations, and history-taking to identify limitations and treatment needs
• Design and implement tailored rehabilitation programs
• Use various techniques and operate specialized equipment safely to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting plans as necessary
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
• Maintain a safe environment following infection control and safety protocols
• Participate in professional development and quality assurance activities
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth patient transitions

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations

• Proficiency in English, PC skills, and ability to follow instructions
• Physical ability to move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
