Qualifications

Role Overview: A Physical Therapist (PT) provides patient evaluations, diagnoses, and tailored treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Working in settings such as hospitals and clinics, the PT utilizes exercise, manual therapy, and specialized equipment to facilitate recovery and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions through examinations and history
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs
• Perform therapeutic interventions, operate equipment, and monitor progress
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-care
• Maintain safety standards and adhere to regulatory protocols
• Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities
• Assist with discharge planning for continued patient recovery

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Proficiency in English, PC skills, and technical/motor abilities
• Physical ability to move, lift, and assist patients and equipment
• Effective interpersonal skills to work with diverse healthcare personnel
