Job summary

Role:

Travel Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing patient care plans in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities:

Oversee supervision of PTAs and support staff, bill following facility guidelines, ensure compliance with state PT regulations, collaborate with medical team, evaluate and modify care plans based on patient needs, utilize medical computer systems, and document accurately per guidelines.

Qualifications:

Minimum 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged), current BLS certification, and valid state-specific license. Must be able to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology required.

Additional Requirements:

Additional certifications may be necessary prior to assignment.

Working Hours:

This role entails working 8-hour days, 40 hours per week, providing critical patient care and teamwork in a dynamic healthcare environment.
