Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Port Orchard, Washington. This position offers a 40-hour work week, dayshift schedule, and the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment need.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and prevention strategies.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy sessions.
• Assist with discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.
