Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Kent, WA. The position offers 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated clinical team in hospital and outpatient settings.

The PT will evaluate patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain. WA licensure and BLS are required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth transitions.
